NEEDLE ROCK PRESS began as a concept in the mind of sandy Cathcart, then grew to a communal project between members of WOW (Writers of the Way, based in the highlands of Southern Oregon) with the idea of helping writers protect the journey of their souls and develop critical craft while keeping up with the changing times of modern publishing.

Our goal is to communicate ideas in order to take advantage of our changing times and technology. We offer support through links and articles that help writers in their creative endeavors.

We also help writers publish their books through Create Space and Ingram Spark with our Needle Rock Press imprint. We perform a copy edit, walk writers through every step of the publishing process, connect authors with cover artists and photographers, and help get the word out about your products.

At this time we are only taking book proposals from authors who are either part of our mentoring program at www.capturingstory.com or are taking advantage of our many services offered there.

We believe that beauty is more than a concept and is important to the nurturing of our souls. To that end we create, using the gifts God has given us. Yes. We are a community that desires to give glory and honor to Creator in thanks for his incredible blessings to us.
